Lincoln is 7lbs 4oz (3.35 kgs) and has been on his best behavior so far. It took all of 5 seconds for him to have Mom and Dad eating out of the palm of his little hand.
The real star of the day was Gretchen. After an early morning water breaking on the 27th, she endured (roughly) 18 hrs of contractions and labor. Despite that ordeal, Ryan and Lincoln still can't keep up with her despite their insistences she rests for awhile. We think Lincoln has ulterior motives though...
Thanks to everyone for their help, guidance, advice, friendship, prayers, and caring (to name a few!) throughout the process. We really appreciate it and hope we are lucky enough to repay the favors over the years. We will now bludgeon you with pictures of our little friend....

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I can't wait to meet him! He's adorable, as I'm sure you know! Miss you, and so happy to hear that mom and baby Lincoln are doing so well!
Wow! What a beautiful surprise for us... Welcome Lincoln. You are a fabulous-looking little guy. The world is waiting for you. Thanks for including us in your announcement, Ryan and Gretchen and for catching us up on your NEWS. Romy looks great, too. We're on our way to CA next week for a Bogel family reunion. Gretchen and Ryan, thank you for sharing all the beautiful pictures! Lincoln MUST be the most handsome, perfect baby ever!! Congratulations, we are just so happy and excited for you!!Gretchen, you a miracle yourself - just a couple days after giving birth you still remembered and made the effort to send me a birthday card (thank you!) - you are amazing!! Lincoln is very lucky to have you two as parents. We're thinking of you and sending all three of you lots of love from San Francisco. We look forward to updates! :)

CONGRATS TO MY BIG BRO AND BIG SIS-INLAW!!!!!!!!!!!! WE ARE ALL VERY EXCITED FOR YOU BOTH!!! I'm sooooooo excited/happy/exstatic
(sp?) that i FINALLY have my first nephew on my side of the family, for that matter, one that's younger than me :) Tori is jumping for joy over the arrivil(sp?) of her lil cousin Lincoln. Actually, there have been a few times that she's started to cry cuz she can't see him other than in a pic and play w/him. She misses you 2 very very much too!! She's always asking when we're going to go to "uncle wyan's and aunt getchen's house to pway wit yinkcon?" Hopefully we'll get to see him sometime before he goes to college and gets married and has kids of his own :-P Anywho, Congrats to you both!!! we know, hell, everyone knows that you 2 are going to be FANTASTIC parents hands down (but not better than james and I *hehehe* j/k). We love and miss you guys very very very much!!! And we can't wait for the day that we will get to meet Lincoln for the first time! btw, what are you going to call him nickname wise? i don't think he'll really wanna be called peanut when he's 13.
